Rome man comes home from jail, finds household items gone
A Rome man came home to his Maple Road residence Saturday morning after having spent seven months in jail and found that nearly all of his household items had been stolen, according to a Floyd County police report.
Several Burglaries Are Reported
Three hunters reported on October 16 that their hunting camp on McElheney Cross Roads had been burglarized, according to an incident report from the Jasper County Sheriff's Office , Reported taken were several pairs of hunting clothes and boots, two rain suits, a trail camera, tree stand safety harness and a lock-on tree stand.
