The following individual appeared during bond hearings Friday at the Pope County Detention Center.

Pottsville High School juniors and seniors from Spanish II participated in their annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta for Pottsville middle grade students Tuesday afternoon.

Pottsville, Schuylkill County- Pottsville Area high school won a bronze medal in the 2013 US News and World Report best high schools rankings The rankings are based on several factors, including student performance on exams in college level courses The school's college readiness program helped bring the school into the spot light.
