In response to hearing about a pending piece of prolife legislation in Michigan, a former legislative aide has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against State Representative Lisa Brown, claiming her pregnancy led Brown to fire her.

A 3-year-old wrongful termination charge leveled Wednesday against state Rep. Lisa Brown triggered denials from her supporters who contended the allegations were trumped up to discredit the Oakland County Democrat.

The highlight of Friday's Earth Day events in Potterville was an announcement from U.S. Department of Agriculture State Director James Turner that the city would receive $4.5 million in loans to improve its water and sewer systems.

County officials approved the language on four recall petitions for Potterville Board of Education members John Hampton, Chris Hampton, Jim Leham and Karen Miller.

The crowd threw money at the host as she pranced up on stage dancing to Jessie J's "Domino" at Wednesday night's Drag Show.
