Seems he set himself up to be a martyr and that's exactly what happened. Why are you surprised that the DEA would choose to go after the "low hanging fruit" in this case? He advertised who he was and where he was growing. No investigation required because it was handed to them on a silver platter.

"On a property flanked by vineyards..." Thanks to the 21st amendment, the grapes are safe and the medicinal herb is "eradicated"...

btw Where is the 18th amendment equivalent that would have constitutionally authorized these federal thieves and thugs to raid our sovereign state? Wither the Tenth Amendment?

Why has not the Feds taken the lead role in other busts and thus pay the costs? What is the total arrests made by the feds in Mendocino County? This case will cost the taxpayers a bundle no doubt, but sure helped the county case pending aganist the sheriff.

The feds love to go after the outspoken. If you disagree with the policy and have the nerve to speeak out you will be targeted. It is the unspoken rule in washington to shoot the messenger when he has information that goes against current political policy no matter how bad the policy.

The feds I have found out only make a little more than One percent of the arrests in the pot fields. They generally go after large size growers. I ask was this guy organized crime?? Does the DEA owe something to our local law to make this bust. It seems that there are lot of bigger time operations they could of went after and clearly this shows how our new admin. in Washington is veiwng the pot industry here on the northcoast. They need ourl ocal enforcement to get much of any busts so one has to ask was this hill ghuy singled out. And if so why where the resources used on this busts not one assocated with organized crime, the cartel, the russians maifa the asians gangs the bikers ect... It seems it is all about attention and lacks the concerns of the citzens public safety. Is law enforcement misdirecting there resources?

This guy was outspoken against a bad government policy and he was targeted. If he were in another country he would be considered a political prisoner.

US Attorney General Eric Holder confirmed at a press conference that he would no longer subject individuals who were complying with state medical marijuana laws to federal drug raids and prosecutions.

Hill was in compliance with the CSU, SB420, and the California AG's guidelines on collectives, so how and why did these thugs come to show up on Hill's property and conduct a federal drug raid?

Whoever called these rogue feds in to bust this dude obviously did it to teach him a lesson about asserting his civil rights. Who did it? Nadel, Lintott, Allman?

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
