CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- An assault charge against a Southeast Texas man has been upgraded to capital murder in the death of his father months after being attacked.

The Corpus Christi Public Libraries and the The Bell/Whittington Public Library in Portland are two of many libraries across the state that will launch registration for annual Summer Reading Programs.
