Coast Guard, good samaritan assist vessel taking on water
The Coast Guard assisted two people aboard a sinking 50-foot commercial fishing boat approximately 30 miles east of Port O'Connor, Thursday at approximately 8 a.m.. A watchstander at Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi received a mayday call from the captain of the Angie L at 7:17 a.m., reporting the boat was rapidly taking on water.
