Capsized canoeist in Long Island Sound saved

Zura Doletza, 60, was holding onto a floating lobster pot buoy about 200 yards from shore when police arrived in a 40-foot rescue boat at 3:34 p.m. Semiconscious and speaking incoherently, he was taken to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson and treated for hypothermia, police said.
