PORT GIBSON, Miss. -- A Port Gibson woman was charged with felony assault after she allegedly boarded a school bus and attacked the driver who was dropping off her children, Claiborne County Sheriff Marvin Lucas said.

A black 2004 Toyota truck driven by Robert H. Durr was traveling north on Highway 547 at 8:05 p.m., when it ran off the road about two miles south of Port Gibson, according to Mississippi Highway Patrol officials.
