Law enforcement agencies and the Mineral Wells Fire Department reported overall quiet holiday weekend activities.

Poolville holds Pre-k registration
Poolville Elementary School will hold a PRE-K INTENT TO REGISTER for the 2009-20010 school year May 4th-May 7th from 9:00am -2:00pm. The program will include students identified as qualifying and non-qualifying. All students enrolling must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2009.

Poolville Elementary will hold new incoming Kindergarten for the 2009-2010 school year May 4th-7th, from 9:00 am- 2:00pm. The registration will be held in the elementary office.
Weatherford man killed in head-on collision

Recent students of Peaster, Poolville and Garner ISD have grown up recycling, all because of a question over 15 years ago from one kindergartner to her mother.
