Ponchatoula man arrested for convenience store robbery
An arrest has been made in the robbery of a Ponchatoula convenience store. Brian Guthrie, 34, is accused of walking into Popingo's convenience store #13 in the 400 block of East Pine Street, waiting for the cash register to be opened, then forcing the clerk out of the way and grabbing all the twenty dollar bills from the register.
