Excitement is stirring about a blizzard, but not a snow blizzard. A group of Snowy Owls has migrated south, most likely from the Arctic tundra, and have chosen an area just south of Polson and Flathead Lake to spend the winter.

The last time Polson adventurer Marty Zajanc saw a snowy owl, he spent 10 years hiking more than 3,000 miles across Alaska and into the Arctic Circle to do it.
