Improving Groton Schools: Pleasant Valley Elementary
Every month, Principal Kathleen Miner calls students before a school wide assembly to recognize children who have met her challenge: 100 math facts, six minutes, no mistakes.
Pleasant Valley Elementary School in Peters Township School District was a shade of blue Friday as students in kindergarten through third grade celebrated their recent Blue Ribbon School award.
Dr. Robin Snider-Flohr, dean of health and public services, and Dawn Cable, adjunct instructor in developmental education, led two sessions on classroom interventions.
