John Alexander "Alec" Barber has not spent much time around crowds in his young life, but this past weekend he joined the throngs of moviegoers who pushed "Marvel's The Avengers" box office revenue past the $100 million mark for the second week in a row.

Raymond G. Bryant, 73, of Montrose, was driving east on Missouri 52 Highway and crossed the centerline while cresting a hill, causing him to hit Dennis J. Miller, 37, of Pleasant Valley, head on, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Claycomo crews were called to the fire near Northeast Vivion Road and Interstate 435.
