What kind of idiot would keep a gun in a car? Or any valuables.

As if a fence is going to stop crime from coming out west here from Fort Lauderdale.

Plantation whiners! First, they don't want the Hiatus Rd extension on their side of the canal, and now this... Maybe they should move to somewhere where no people exist!

The rear of my house backs up to Plantation Acres. When there were only 5 hours on the PA side of the street, they wanted a concrete fence on the northern Sunrise easement, maybe to protect them from ... us? Didn't happen.

The media gets more and more sensational every day. Yes, even in North Carolina or some other promised land, car burglars can strike in any neighborhood, even an upscale one. In fact, these morons in Plantation Acres were probably victimized by some 16 year old kid that lives in the neighborhood, not some masked thug from Opa Locka.

These are probably the malcontents that write on all of the sensationalized Broward exodus articles bragging to us that they are moving someplace "better" (200 acres in the backwoods of Tennessee or some tract home in Charlotte). |

Exactly, score for the burglar. |

I never lock my vehicles or even my house out here in Sunshine Ranches and have never had a problem in 40 years. |

These people whose property abuts any type of public land - road, canal, whatever - think they own it and are entitled to sole use of it. The fences should have no gates, so these abutting owners are prevented from monopolizing the public lands.

The Acres are still there? It's time to sub-divide it, and build afordable housing for the 1,150 Cubans Naturalized in Miami 18 days ago.
Also, Central Americas are being squeezed in Weston! For some reason they have "big bucks", and badly need living space. There is room for 6 three story houses per acre! |
The walk is to keep to our selfs. we worked hard to keep the area nice. Scumrise has fialed and Mark the bike guy for the goverment eats coming up with this BS. BIKE LANES AND COUTY PARKS ARE NOT USED. WHY DO WE NEED MORE TAX MONEY SPENT ON BS> GIVE IT TO THE SCHOOLS AND LEAVE PEOPLE IN PEACE> |
|
You are a moron, its totally different pots of money. This goes through the MPO. A better answer would be, run it along A1A so people will use it. |
