Retrial date set in murder case
Maryland's attorney general has declined to take the case of a Pittsville man whose murder conviction was overturned on appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, meaning Charles Robert Phillips, 32, is set to be retried in Worcester County Circuit Court for the March 2008 stabbing murder of 77-year-old William Nibblett in his Pocomoke City home.
