Pioneer Career and Technology Center will have an open house for area high school sophomores and their parents or guardians from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at 27 Ryan Road.

Lima Olive June Jodry, 89, died at 7:41 a.m. Jan. 17, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.

This was not only a celebration for the three young, courageous cancer survivors, but for the entire community which has banded together through its share of triumphs and tragedies over the last few years.
