Pinson man stabbed in eastern Jefferson County

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Food Giant parking lot in the 6600 block of Alabama 75 just after 8 p.m. The 43-year-old man told deputies he had gone to the store when a young man he didn't know approached him and asked for directions to Pinson Valley High School.
