A 78 year old man was killed on Thursday evening when the Chevrolet sedan he was driving collided with a Chrysler sedan on Highway 96 South near Spur 414, south of Pineland, in Sabine County.

Karla Bullock, 51, Pineland, died after her 1999 Ford four-door left the road and struck a tree at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 96, 2.4 miles south of San Augustine, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
