The four-day Lakes Bluegrass Festival in Pine River seeks willing hands and hearts to make the festival a success in the community.

Nighttime construction work on Highway 371 in Pequot Lakes should be finished by the end of this week, said Joe Cameron, construction supervisor with the Minnesota Department of Transportation .

Pine River resident Mark Edwards will receive $28,000 as a result of a mediated settlement agreement in a civil lawsuit against the City of Pine River.

The detour on Highway 371 in the city of Pine River will go into effect on Tuesday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
