Garbage bills lower; budget cuts, property tax increase

There's some good news and bad news concerning the Petal budget for next year. Good news: Residents will see a $3 a month reduction in their water, sewer and garbage bills.

I would like to know when the city department cleans the ditches for water to drain faster. I have seen this machine used before but dont know who to ask for the service.I really dont think talking to the alderman would do any good since the election is over for another 4yrs.
