Attorney named to Arkansas Ethics Commission
A Morrilton attorney has been named to the state's Ethics Commission. Senate President Bob Johnson on Monday appointed Paul F. Dumas to the commission, replacing Commissioner Linda Collins-Smith of Pocahontas.

Audobon Society slates convention
MORRILTON - The Arkansas Audubon Society will hold its annual spring convention at Petit Jean State Park near Morrilton on Friday through Sunday, April 24-26. Friday registration will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and the evening meals and programs will be at Show Barn Hall at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute.

39th Soldiers Come Home From Iraq
Nearly 300 soliders from the 39th Infantry Brigade returned home Monday. More are scheduled to return home from Iraq this week.
