No one was injured Monday morning when the brakes of a Perham school bus caught on fire on State Highway 78, near the road's overpass of U.S. Highway 10.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office warned residents to be careful about using vehicles on lakes during the current spell relatively warm weather after two vehicles went through Little Pine Lake north of Perham over the weekend.

The retirement of Republican State Rep. Mark Murdock, who represents the eastern half of Otter Tail County, certainly is unfortunate for his supporters.
