Property-tax rates go up

Acting on the recommendation of assessor Michael Coffey, selectmen have continued a long-standing Pepperell tradition of evaluating all four property types -- residential, industrial, commercial and open space -- using the same classification of "one." That means no one type of property will have a different tax rate than another.
