At 7:10 a.m., 35-year-old Charles Claussen of Peetz was in a rollover accident when his 1987 Dodge Pickup ran off the road on Colorado138 mile point 2. Claussen was traveling westbound on Colorado 138 when his pickup went off the left side of the roadway.

John L. Nelson, 85, of Sterling, passed away April 30, 2012, in Sterling. Visitation, with family receiving friends, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home.
