We join the Northeast Texas Children's Museum in welcoming Sharline Freeman of Pecan Gap as the museum's new executive director.

Sharline Freeman of Pecan Gap has been named executive director of the Northeast Texas Children's Museum.

Laurine Garrison, 91, of Sulphur Springs passed away Friday, June 5, 2009, after a brief illness.

Jean Olson Yant, 63, of Pecan Gap died Saturday, April 18, 2009. A memorial service is scheduled at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the McKenzie United Methodist Church in Honey Grove.
