Workers find Pasadena Star from 1912 inside Herkimer Arms

There was a lot going on in Pasadena on May 15, 1912 - the day workers poured the concrete foundations for what would become the Herkimer Arms apartments on Union Street.

What a great article ! At my house {built in 1922 at a cost of 3400 dollars} I found newspaper with a story of Heda Harper ! I remember seeing her on an episode of I LOVE LUCY !

Do you mean Hedda Hopper, the actress who became the top Hollywood gossip columnist in the Golden Age of movies? She was famous for her outlandish hats.
