Ranch Hope will sponsor a Winter Retreat the weekend of March 2 to 4. The retreat will take place at the Revere Inn Hotel in Paradise, Pa., just five miles from Lancaster on Route 30.. The weekend away is for couples and singles.

State police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who seriously injured an 18-year-old girl when he crashed into the back of a horse and buggy in Lancaster County.

The former Echo Farm Hunt Club, which was recently purchased by Paradise and Price townships, which plan to preserve the land.

Evan Blank, 21, of Paradise, was charged in the Tuesday night robberies at the Lancaster Food and Fuel and the Lancaster Travel Plaza, both on Lincoln Highway East in Ronks, and a hold-up Monday night at the Cherry Lane Motel on North Ronks Road, according to East Lampeter Township police.

On Thursday January 19, 2012 East Lampeter Township Police with the Assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police Troop J located, and subsequently arrested Shaun Ronald Appler W/M/26 of Quarryville on an outstanding warrant for the robbery of the Cherry Lane Motel.
