Palmerton Police Department said the accident occurred at 10:22 a.m. at the intersection of Sixth Street and Delaware Avenue when a 2004 Chevy Impala, operated by Dick Heiney, 80, of Palmerton, exited the Country Harvest Family Market parking lot to travel east onto Delaware Avenue.
