Clerk beaten, dragged after robbery

The manager of a Family Dollar store in Paincourtville was treated at a hospital for injuries after reportedly being beaten and dragged alongside a car while trying to stop an accused robber.

Donaldsonville man convicted in attack

In two cases prosecuted by the 23rd Judicial District Attorney's Office, one man was convicted and another pleaded guilty, District Attorney Ricky Babin said Thursday.
