Jerry Cochran is moving out, Perry Gorrell is moving up and Brandon Harding is moving in.

When I started writing this column, I had no idea how many tears I would shed. As I reflected on veterans I've lost over the past year, I realized it's higher number than in past years.

Pettis County Recorder of Deeds Barbara Clevenger recently issued marriage licenses to: James E. Sutton III, 18, of Sedalia; and Keisha M. King 19, of Otterville; Matthew J. Thomas, 23, and Beckey E. Hull, 27, both of Sedalia; Steven R. Zeiler, 29, and Tammy S. Smith, 39, both of Sedalia; Joseph M. Beck, 19, of Higginsville, and Madelyn L.
