Otterbein Retirement Community has been chosen as the location for a proposed Warren County Arts and Cultural Center.

Lt. Governor Becky Skillman today announced that eight rural communities will receive Community Focus Fund grants totaling $3,811,953. These federally funded grants will help the communities with projects that may include infrastructure improvements, downtown revitalization, libraries and fire services.

Otterbein -- A Benton County highway worker was injured Monday when a train struck the tractor he was using to help grade a road.

A train collided with a tractor on railroad tracks near Otterbein, sending one person to the hospital.

Even as threatening storms moved into the area, some people were enjoying a night out.
