That pesky weather, always causing accidents. I'm sure that a young driver with little behind the wheel experience in no way contributed to the "accident."

Thankfully they were wearing their seatbelts!

Yeah, weather possibly caused? More like 17 year old driver caused. Unless the wet road jumped out in front of her, she should have been driving with more caution.

And Local, I think that's why the reported pointed out the the CHP identified the kids, to get the paper off the hook.
