A 58-year-old woman was killed today in a car wreck on Hunter road in Ooltewah, authorities said.

Interstate 75 northbound just before the Ooltewah exit is shut down tonight while Chattanooga police clean up a wreck that occurred around 7 p.m. at mile marker 10.3, police said.

The driver of the vehicle lost control trying to negotiate a curve and left the roadway on the right, sideswiping a guardrail.
