DAVISON TOWNSHIP, Michigan - Back in the 1980s, autoworker David Powell of Davison Township asked himself: "Who am I, where am I from?" Intrigued, he dabbled into his genealogy but it wasn't until his father, late in life, began opening up on the family history that Powell launched a study into the Powell lineage.
