Northeastern Junior College located here has announced the names of the students who were selected by the college to be recognized in the 2009 Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges honor program.

Kaizli Jean Whiting, a girl, was born June 10, weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz., at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker to Josh and Brianna Whiting of Parker.

Olney Springs officials said they expect a boil order for town water should be over later Monday.

People in the town of Olney Springs in Crowley County are being asked to boil their water, or avoid using tap water until the towns water chlorinator can be replaced.

No criminal charges will be filed against a man who allegedly caused an April wildfire that burned across the southeastern Colorado's Crowley County in April and killed two volunteer firefighters.

The Olney Springs Volunteer Fire Department lost 2 firefighters and a brush truck on April 15, 2008.
