November 22, 2009 For more than a month now, farmers have been working around the clock to get the harvest in before the snow falls and locks them out of their fields.

An Olin man is dead following an accident Sunday morning. The Iowa State Patrol says Daniel Soper, 26, was driving on County Road E-45 near Morley around 2AM Sunday morning when the vehicle left the road and settled on its side in a nearby field.

Things are returning to normal in Olin after the entire town was evacuated for an anhydrous ammonia leak at the local co-op. According to the Jones County Sheriff's office, the leak happened about 9:30 on Sunday night at the River Valley Co-Op on the south side of town.

There is an anhydrous leak just outside of the Olin city limits south of town. Jones County Emergency management is evacuating homes on the southwest side of the city first and is not allowing any access to the town of Olin.
