TRENTON, NJ Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman announced that the operator of a used car dealership in Middlesex County, N.J., pleaded guilty on August 25 to using fraudulent vehicle titles to sell cars damaged in Superstorm Sandy to unsuspecting customers. A suspended Motor Vehicle Commission technician who helped him obtain the fraudulent vehicle titles also pleaded guilty today in the criminal scheme, and charges are pending against a former car salesman at the dealership.

SAYREVILLE - A homeowner who walked in during a burglary of his Eric Court residence on Tuesday chased the intruder for several blocks until officers arrived to arrest the alleged burglar, according to police.
