How many more of these child molesters do i HAVE TO READ ABOUT THAT DO NOT RECIEVE JUSTICE AT THE HANDS OF THE COURTS. iF HE WOULD PLEA GUILTY AND TAKE A 1 YEAR sentence he must have been guilty as hell and had sommeone of influence in politics or family. Similar happenings occurred in McCurtain County when a alledged convict molester got child custody from court by a judges approval. happened 2 times there.

The creep had priors, so he is no stranger to prison. He should still be in prison but just like John Cooey he was let out to rape a child. Go to Oklahoma Department of Corrections and look this puspocket up. Sentenced to a total of 27.98 years and didn't have to serve even half of it. He even managed to get off parole. Makes you wonder what the judge has under his robe to show a child rapist such compassion. Maybe he can relate to his crime.

Toothless retarded person, the courts are in the judical branch, prosecutors are in the executive branch, read the article again, toothless retard:

"Nineteen of the 20 years of a sentence against 64-year-old David Harold Earls were suspended as part of the plea agreement reached with Pittsburg County prosecutors."

Toothless retart, probabtion and parole are department of corrections, department of corrections is in the executive branch of state government.

If a judge sentenced John Cooey to 27.98 years and the department of corrections let Cooey out with less than half of that time served, it's not judge's fault, nor the judicial branch's fault.

Oh yes it is buddy. You can impose a sentence with out parole. Now just because you like baby rappers or feel you have something in common with them and want to take up for them does not mean you can put your narrow minded bull shit and on here and pretend to be someone.

Can anyone explain to me why drug dealers and drug takers are spending more time in jail than child rapists, or rapists of anykind?

Yes I agree, but this man was sentenced to just a year in prison and 19 on paper by the Judge.

It's not just drug dealers, they send people to prison for being an addict.

I don't agree with the sentence also but look at the facts: No DNA evidence. No evidence at all. Only the testimony of a then 4 year old girl. The prosecution would have lost this one if it went to trial so the plea deal was to get the fool to admit it at least. Don't think for a minute that he won't get some "street" justice now that his face has been broadcast all over the U.S. Maybe that was the intent, and it'll surely save the tax payers some money to not have to house, feed, and medicate him for years in a jail. He won't see 2010. Just my opinion......

It might not be an effective deterrent, but it will sure save the rest of the country from having to worry about really creepy Okies running around. Maybe the OK legislators can authorize the of the death penalty against OK men who simply look like child molestors.

Why do you think the prosecution would have lost? This was a deal, like the old saying goes, Oklahoma has the best judges money can buy. That's all this was, a deal! If they wanted a conviction don't you think it would have helped if the DA called his daughter that he raped when she was about the same age? Or what, no DNA left there either? Just a grown woman who would have testified to being raped by this son of a bitch, her own father. There had to be something there or the DA would not have filed charges. He would not have taken a plea if he had of been innocent.

Those people are protected! What do you mean, street justice? There are neighborhoods in OKC where sex predators congregate, and I have never heard of a murder of one of them! Nor have I heard of one of them being beaten within an inch of their life! If I were to start vigilante justice and harmed just one of them, I would get life in prison. I'm a great-grandmother. A former son-in-law only got 6 months in the county jail as a trustee for a second sexual act with a child!
And I can bet that the address shown where he is registered is not the actual address where he resides, and he is with another women with children. What I meant was a second conviction. One was his own daughter, and the other was with my eight year old grand-daughter. It seems the laws of this land has become nothing more than bargaining chips, used to get a conviction with just a little time to serve. It seems all the DA's want is a conviction under their belt, NOT justice! Take the facts as they are and try it, work hard to get a conviction, quit letting sexual predators, murderers, etc. off so easy! The DA's are paid to do a job, their voted in by the citizens, so they ought to do their jobs and quit just working plea deals. Maybe then America will become a safer place to live, like it was meant to be. Stop taking the laws meant to protect the innocent and use them to protect criminals!
