An interest in fantasy and helping young people navigate life's problems led Odon resident Timothy Scott to write a series of fantasy novels, the first of which has been published and is now on sale.

A Daviess County man sentenced earlier this month on a methamphetamine possession charge began a 90-day sentence in the Greene County Jail on Monday morning.

Marlin D. Graber of rural Odon, driving a 2006 Dodge Ram Pick-up, southbound and and did not see an approaching northbound 1997 Lexus driven by 18 year old Marcus L. Knepp of Montgomery.

INDOT has announced that both lanes of State Road 58 east of Odon will be closed for repairs beginning April 23.
