Yes, I remember when Bailey's purchased track. Really happy to hear slots will be kept out of OC. Thanks for info.

I think it will have little improvement in Ocean City. OC has gone down hill or lets say remained stuck in the 1970's. Look at the quality of folks on the beach and boardwalk with cigarette butts hanging out there mouths. Using the beaches as ashtrays. And every board on the boardwalk has butts stuck in the cracks. Many beaches in Delaware and NJ went smoke free but OC wants to remain stuck in the 1970's.
OC is getting all the remaining low class smoking citizens from other beaches that still think it's ok to smoke wherever they please. Soooo Nasty!!!
OC is loosing the people that care about their health to quality beaches in DE and NJ. OC political leaders just don't get it, they are still on the 70's train. OC boasts of a "Family Beach" That's funny they won't stop the ignorant smokers on the beach or boardwalk. People don't want to be around nasty smokers anymore, especially on the beach or boardwalk.
Bringing Slots will only make things WORSE.
It sure will be like Atlantic City South.

Ocean City hasn't been a family resort town for years now. Those days are gone.

You are so clueless it's funny. I do agree you with on some things. Just remember most of those people are from Pennsylvania. Their cave dwellers. Cause alot of problems in OC.

Can't care less about the smokers, but we're probably done going down to O.C. except maybe
in the off season. Just don't want to deal with
the traffic & larger crowds. As far as the cave
dwellers go, O.C. would lose as least half of
their money if the cavemen stopped going there & it would be left to the pig-shit kickers from down there.

I personally will still go every year, just to see the one armed Bosnian guy working at the crappy fast food place and probably sending money back to his crappy little village that we demolished in the war---have you heard about this guy? I saw him oversees when we were trying to protect his country and then I see THE SAME GUY working at some crap fast food place in OC a few years later! What are the chances of that?!?

If my wish could only come true. I wish cave dwellers would stay home. Don't need or want your money. You don't spend as much as you think, subtract the harm that is done. We are not pig kickers but many chicken farmers. Stay away...go screw up someplace else.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Libra

You're full of empathy and affection today, so it would be a shame not to spread it around. It's a marvellous day for a low-key get-together with some of the people you haven't seen during the past few days, because you'll enjoy having a good chat about what's been happening. Once your social duties are out of the way you'll love curling up on the sofa with a good book or a favourite film.
