A man and woman were behind bars Friday charged with a number of southern Ohio break-ins. Matthew Jarrells and Heather Bays, both of Portsmouth, are accused of breaking into homes and buildings in Scioto and Lawrence counties and taking their infant child along for the spree.

"He has threatened to shoot some of these attendants and says he has a firearm but does not show it," Phalen said.

According to Hamilton Local School District, a claim surfaced Monday of alleged actions by a faculty member at Hamilton Middle School.
