Former Westfir city recorder Elizabeth Murray has been accused of embezzling more than $11,000 during a one-year period.

Oakridge Police have arrested a former Westfir City Recorder for embezzling over $11,000. A Elizabeth Louise Murray, age 55, was arrested Sunday on charges of aggravated theft, official misconduct, theft, possession of a forged instrument, and forgery.
