LOOK UP IN THE sky during the early morning hours over Oakley and you're bound to see some kind of bird searching for its morning meal.
Nestled into a hillside on a winding street, it is surrounded by multi-level homes with balconies that jut out like private roosts where residents pause to watch the colors of a pink and orange sunset intensify until they dim over the city.
Built in 1937, the cantilevered residence appears to float above a flowing river and waterfall in western Pennsylvania.
