Corps opens four parks on Bull Shoals Lake

Four additional campgrounds were opened recently on Bull Shoals Lake as the Army Corps of Engineers continues repair work at its parks on Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes following last year's record high lake levels and January's devastating ice storm, the Corps annouced Monday.

Truck hits pole, knocks out power

A 63-year-old man narrowly escaped injury when a vehicle he was driving crashed and broke a utility pole at 7:22 a.m. Monday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 West and West Paul Street in Mountain Home.
