Mountain Home residence destroyed by blaze
A Mountain Home residence was destroyed by fire shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday. At 1:57 a.m. an alarm for a structure fire was reported at 968 C.R. 15, according to a Baxter County Sheriff's office release.
Several Properties Nominated for National Honor
The State Review Board of the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program nominated 34 properties in 27 Arkansas counties to the National Register of Historic Places when it met December 2. The announcement was made Friday by AHPP Director Frances McSwain.
