Oakes, Fargo high school band, chorus honored
North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple has picked the official state governor's band and chorus from high schools in Oakes and Fargo.
1A and 9-Man Playoff Match-ups
The first round of the Class A playoffs start this Saturday. Linton -HMB hosts Westhope -NewBurg- Glenburn , the Lions are 7-1. Milnor North Sargent travels to Larimore.
North Dakota man killed in weekend farm accident
A weekend farm accident in southeast North Dakota killed a rural Oakes man. Dickey County Sheriff Jim Bohannon says 87-year-old Henry Frojen was dragged by his pickup truck Sunday morning after he put it in reverse and then partially fell from the vehicle.
