Oak Bluffs Firefighters Bid Farewell to Chief Nelson Amaral

Nelson William Amaral, a lifelong Oak Bluffs resident, a plumber, avid outdoorsman, and a former chief and, beginning at the age of 14 a member of the Oak Bluffs Fire Department for 56 years, was buried Saturday in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Oak Bluffs.
