Flooding in Alpine and Nutrioso on Friday caused the loss of at least one structure, washed out roads, and caused other damage, according to officials.

Many areas are open, including Big Lake, Crescent Lake, the Greer lakes, Lee Valley, Nelson Reservoir, Luna Lake and Mount Baldy wilderness area.

Significant portions of Arizona saw heavy rain between Sunday and Tuesday, flooding eastern parts of the state, with more storms expected this week, according to the National Weather Service.

The communities of Alpine and Nutrioso that were affected by the Wallow Fire in June are now seeing flooding in the area.

The fires that engulfed large tracts of Arizona forests and grasslands this year also burned through the state's fire-suppression budget.
