A British stockbroker, a Yiddish author, an antique restoration business and a Brooklyn mosque are just a few of the subjects that make up the schedule for this year's Harrisburg Jewish Film Festival.

The fallen tree was so heavy that a backhoe trying to drag it out of the Nescopeck Creek reared up on two wheels and the driver had to let up.

"We've never really touched on the angle of the resistance fighters," said Nancy Weil, administrative assistant for the Jewish Community Council of Erie.
