San Jacinto: Demolition to begin on fire-damaged Kuhns site
This former church, on the right, and the building in the background on the Kuhns property in the 1100 block of North State Street were damaged in a fire Jan. 9. AdditionAL damage occurred Friday, Nov. 15. Structures on the nearly five-acre city-owned site are slated for demolition beginning this week.
Researchers track great white sharks off Piedras Blancas
Researchers with Stanford University's Hopkins Marine Station have placed a tracking buoy just offshore at Piedras Blancas in an effort to determine if the burgeoning elephant seal rookery there is attracting great white sharks.
