North central Missouri flood update
Northcentral District Flood Update - 10:10 a.m. Route B in Grundy County has been opened.
An early morning traffic crash claimed the life of a local man. The crash happened just before 4 a.m. Saturday morning on Highway 6, two miles east of Novinger.

Moberly house burns because of protocol

Rotary Club donates dictionaries
“Rotary worldwide is trying to stamp out illiteracy", says Assistant District Governor, David Strickler, "and so we think it's very important for kids to learn how to read. That's one of the most important building blocks of their education.”
The Rotary Club of Edina is helping to fight illiteracy. The Rotary was at Knox County Elementary on Wednesday afternoon handing out dictionaries to third graders. via KTVO Kirksville
A fire that broke out Wednesday night completely destroyed a local home. Twenty-eight fire fighters with the Kirksville Fire Department and Novinger Northern Fire Department battled the blaze from around 10:30 ... via KTVO Kirksville
